2017 US National Conference
Next summer, we celebrate
250 years as a denomination. That'll make the US National Conference a
little extra special. We're meeting in Lancaster, Pa., where it all
began. Here are the details:
Date: July 12-15, 2017. Location: Lancaster County Convention Center, Lancaster, Pa.
This is a family-oriented
conference, open to anyone. Past conventions have drawn 900+ attendees.
It would be great to break 1000 for this historic edition.
The business session, which
will include electing a bishop, will be held on Thursday, July 13. Each
church can send at least two delegates--the senior pastor and at least
one layperson, based on church size. This fall, as you prepare your
church budget for 2017, be sure to include travel, hotel, and conference
registration.
Registration costs will be
$60 for individuals and $100 for families. The conference hotel is the
Marriott at Penn Square, which is attached to the Lancaster Convention
Center. Conference registration will go live in early 2017.
